The belgian band ‚Parade Ground‘ was founded by the
brothers Jean-Marc and Pierre Pauly in the year 1981. Their style
evolved during the years from an icy and radical cold wave to
more danceable sound with stressed rhythmics and exclusively
synthetic melodies, sustained by an ironical dadaist visual.
They regularly collaborated with members of ‚Front 242‘, have
worked with the english producer Colin Newman from ‚Wire‘ and
have written and composed on two ‚Front 242‘ albums in 1994 .
A new album ‚Rosary‘ was released in 2007 produced by
Patrick Codenys (‚Front 242‘). The band have acquired a solid
live reputation [ t h e choreography o f c h a o s ].
